Baron Hill Golf Club
Nine hole par 34 moorland course at the south side of Beaumaris. Free of bunkers, yet described as "challenging", with perhaps the best par 3 hole on Anglesey (the 5th). There are several streams, to add interest.

Beaumaris Castle
Begun in 1295, this unfinished castle is the last and largest of King Edward I's Welsh fortifications. Designed by the king's mason-architect, Master James of St George, it is a perfect example of a concentrically planned castle. Formidable defences survive, surrounded by a partly restored moat. World Heritage Site.

Foel Farm Park
Family fun for all, especially the children. Feed the animals under cover and outside. Bottle feed newborn lambs in spring and early summer.

Henblas
This is one of Anglesey's most popular attractions for an enjoyable day out. There are numerous rides for children both under cover and outdoors, and things to do that include face painting and pottery painting. With many farm animals to see and touch the children will be fascinated.

Holyhead Maritime Museum
The museum is a fascinating experience for the whole family. Step back in time at the oldest lifeboat station in Wales (circa. 1858), which houses a wonderful collection of exhibits that tells the fascinating maritime history of Holyhead.

Llynnon Mill
A unique impression of Anglesey's rural life. Visit the working windmill and restored bakery, the reconstructed prehistoric roundhouses and the craftworkers' guild shop.

Moelfre Seawatch
The Seawatch Centre in the harbour village of Moelfre is a reminder of the island's rich maritime history and the importance of the ever present sea for the people of Anglesey.

Newborough Forest
A pine forest located next to Llanddwyn Beach. Three main trails cross the forest which has bird hides and a small lake. The forest is an important red squirrel conservation site.

South Stack Lighthouse
South Stack is set in a spectacular location to the north-west of Holyhead. The lighthouse acts as a waymark for coastal traffic and a landmark and orientation light for vessels crossing the Irish Sea to and from the ports of Holyhead and Dun Laoghaire.
