The Island Race - Anglesey Half Marathon
A new and exciting race. For the first time ever you can run across the world famous Menai Bridge free from traffic and follow the coast road to Beaumaris Castle, and back. If the half marathon sounds too much, you have no excuse as there will be Children's Races and a 5k Fun Run.

Round Anglesey Cycle Challenge in aid of the RNLI
There’s a 30 mile, 72 mile and 100+ mile route taking in at least one RNLI Lifeboat Station on the way. Challenge starts at 7am onwards and all routes start and end at Beaumaris for a barbecue.

The Great Beaumaris Beer and Fine Wines Festival
60 different real ale casks from all over the UK from award-
Winning ales such as Timothy Taylor Landlord to local greats such as Purple Moose. There’ll also be a wide variety of fine wines carefully selected for you to taste and enjoy with a wine expert on hand to give advice on choosing the correct type of wine, tasting wine, storing wine and deciding on the right kind of glass for your favourite tipple plus some wine workshops. Festival is from 11am to midnight every day. Tickets are £10 for the three days which includes a commemorative tankard and must be purchased in advance from the Canolfan Beaumaris / Beaumaris Leisure Centre. All Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

Concert in the Castle
A host of Anglesey stars will be performing at the Concert in the Castle at Beaumaris Castle, an open air musical extravaganza to raise money for Beat Bullying and Tyddyn Môn. Bring a picnic . Concert starts at 7.30pm but Beaumaris Castle gates will open at 6pm so everyone can enjoy a picnic in the grounds. Snacks and refreshments will also be available. Tickets only £10 if bought before the evening or £12.50 on the night.

Spooky Goings On, Beaumaris Castle
SPOOKY GOINGS ON DOWN AT BEAUMARIS CASTLE
Beaumaris Castle is coming alive on Halloween with ghouls, ghosts and all things that go bump in the night in aid of the RNLI in Beaumaris.
This fun event from 6.00-9.00pm on Monday 31 October is aimed at all the family and promises to one that thrills and chills with haunting tricks and games, horrific food treats, a spooky walk around the Castle walls as well as other mischievous pranks.
Enter into the spirit of the night by coming in fancy dress and make sure you bring a pumpkin lantern to see the sights. There will be a prize for the best dressed child and also the best pumpkin lantern.
